What should I wear for a job interview?
Obviously, you need to think about the job that you are going for.  If you are going to be an actor or writer or opera singer, you will need to dress a lot differently than if you were going to be a consultant or accountant or marketing manager or librarian.
The other recommendation that I have is to err on the side of being conservative.  I think you want to create a positive impression but in the end, you want to be remembered for your personality and skill and not your outfit.  That is why I love this simple navy-blue suit with a white shirt, matched with a simple but elegant handbag.
